Repeating Patterns

This week in maths we have been creating our own repeating patterns. In LTP Sammy made a repeating pattern using the plastic bricks
" See it goes red green red green".
This weeks Home Learning is to make a repeating pattern and to record the pattern.
Thank you for all the donations of chocolates and gifts for the Christmas Fair. It is very much appreciated. Next Friday we are coming to school in spots and stripes for Children in Need. We are asking for Jazzy Jars for the Christmas fair too.
We have been learning about the artist Van Gogh and have made our own interpretation of his picture Starry Night. We linked the artwork with our Literacy and have been writing wow words (adjectives) to describe the stars and the sky in his pictures.
We all enjoyed Woodlands. Please look on the website at the photos of the children exploring.
Our Learning owl this week is Ronnie who has been challenging himself with his learning. well done , have fun with Otto.

  3. Charlie says an example of a repeating pattern is, 'yellow, pink, yellow, pink, yellow, pink,' or 'blue, green, blue, green, blue, green.'
