This week we started our topic work,Once Upon a Time. We read the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and we all enjoyed joining in using different voices. In Learning Through Play some of the children made their own books drawing pictures and writing the character names.
In Maths we used maths words to describe and compare the height and size of the bears. We used words such as taller, shortest, smaller than.
Next week in maths we shall be learning about 2D shapes.
Thank you if you have volunteered to help in class, we can never have too much help , so if you would like to help particularly with cooking please speak with Mrs Bentley.
Don't forget our school 50th birthday celebration on 2nd October, it would be lovely to see you. The Home Learning this week is to decorate the bunting which was sent home on Friday.
Our Learning Owl this week is Sammy who took his maths learning forwards in Learning Through Play. Well done Sammy. Have fun with Otto.
